Originally posted by Ed HicksI looked at all and I think 3-4 may be bad (2 certainly are)...a SS buckle with an odd WW stamp that is listed in books as late war may actually be okay...I hadn't seen one before so I will assume it's bad...about 30 buckles in the group...I hope to get them this weekAttached Files

Hello,
The two "rotating swastika" SS buckles are bad; they are made in two pieces if I see well. The Red Cross looks suspicious also. There might be some interesting HJ markings… The Early railroad buckle is a good one, the DAF with tag also, as is the gold aluminium navy. What is the motto on the telegraph buckle? "Gott mitt uns"? And what are the markings on the third SS buckle?

Hello Ed,
If you would like a definitive opinion on all the above buckles, you can take a picture of them front and back in rows of 3 next to each other (6 buckles at the time) I’m confident most of the members as well as myself here will be able to give you a quick response.
I confirm my previous verdict on the two rotating swastika SS buckles, they are 1000% fake! Markings or no markings. The "real" ones, (prototypes), are one piece stamped and ultra scarce.
