    Nickel SS ID

Looking Over Jean Pierre Redeuilh’s ultimate SS Buckle list I am wondering if this is the Buckle he has named Twin Over. I have found two examples marked DRGM. My buckle is unmarked and another unmarked example sold on Ratisbon auction a couple of years ago. He posted it here but no one gave it a name. The buckles has better detail on the legs and claws than any other nickel I have seen.

You are right it is Gas gesch. Sorry about that. Ben Evens posted a Buckle on War Relics marked DRGM.

          Hello,

IMO it is a normal early "Fat EAGLE" and not a Twin Over !

But a nice buckle in this setup .....

Jean Pierre lists Fat Eagles as unmarked or O&C Ges Gesch. Twin Over he lists as unmarked or Ges Gesch marked. That is why I thought this might be a Twin Over. Hopefully J.P. will post photos when he has time. I can’t find a photo of a Twin Over. Here is my Unmarked Fat Eagle. Lots of differences to the first buckle.

Kirby, You were right: this is the one I called Twin Over = Overhoff's twin. Why? You already found out: it is the easiest to confuse with an Overhoff (the DRGM marked ones ARE Overhoff) but these were certainly not

Thank you for the confirmation. Reading your list it was the only one that matched up. Looking forward to more sections of your Ultimate SS Buckle list.[emoji106]
