1936 was basically the last year for production on nickel buckles. Then a few years of aluminum then Steel and some zinc till the end of the war. I believe the early buckles were trademarked, Then the RZM SS Marked 24, 63,57 and the final ones 36/35 and 36/36. SS Dagger marking followed a similar path.

Great looking skull. I have never studied skulls and eagles but I guess their marking and materials had a timeline similar to buckles. Skulls look good with buckles, I only have a couple of them.DSC00014.jpgDSC00002.jpg
