    Luftwaffe Buckle Unknow maker

    Hi Guys,
    I would like to ask your help to identify the leather tong and buckle maker.

    Don’t like anything about this buckle. Ugly flat eagle. Look at post 95 in the fake sticky thread. Poorly marked. Early Luftwaffe buckles are seen with leather manufacture marking but not on a second pattern marked 42.

      I am also of the opinion that this buckle is bad, but I have to admit that I do not remember this fake in particular. The reverse side reminds a little bit on Gebrüder Schneider/ Wien buckles.

              Maybe you misunderstood my words. The buckle is of course 100% junk. I just wanted to express that it is an unusual and "rare" copy.

                          That is truly one odd looking eagle. With all the work that they did to put that thing together they sure got a lousy artist to cut the die. If I made a fake buckle the eagle would probably look like that as I am not a great artist.
