    Fake tropical belt?

Hey guys, I thought this belt looked good but I was not familiar with the ink stamps so I have been looking for some feedback on it's originality. There was a suggestion that it may be a fake belt made from a post war Russian web belt. I have three Russian belts that I brought back from Afghanistan and while the weave looks very close this belt is darker in color and measures about .3mm thicker. So what do you guys think?

Oh, and no, the buckle did not come with the belt.

As a side note, the person I traded with purchased the belt from the EE which is no guarantee but it would be disappointing if it's not original.

The stamps don’t look like any markings I have seen. The edge of the web is different. I haven’t seen the circular end sewn like this. Is the real length 105 cm. To many difference.

The stitching to the end of the belt is quite common and I've seen it on many examples of belts that apparently have provenance so that is not an issue for me. Although I will say that normally the stitching on the examples I've seen has been in more of a tan/olive color.

Yes, the belt does measure 105cm. The ink stamp is really the only unusual characteristic for me. I have not seen a stamp like this on a German tropical belt before but it also doesn't match the ink stamp on post war Russian belts. If someone can show me an ink stamp like this one on a Russian belt I'll have my answer.

To be clear, I'm not trying to prove that this belt is original but I also don't want to return the belt to the seller unless I'm certain it's not original.

One detail that has eluded me until just a few minutes ago is that all of the belts I've seen so far have a longer piece of webbing on the back of the hook side of the belt. This along with the color of the stitching and the unusual ink stamp are enough to put doubt in my mind that this is an original belt.
