I agree with John.

The only addition though - not a good one - however a brilliant one.

One of the best nickle silver Overhoff SS that I have ever seen.

HI David..I stand corrected..not a good one but a brilliant one .

I would like to add that these came from the factory with a matte silver paint and you see this missing on many examples as the pieces were used and polished etc...the piece posted above appears to have the front paint intact and as such was probably never worn. I believe that a good number of the O and C early SS em buckles that exist today were found in factory storage after the war as you see a good quantity in excellent shape.

I agree with John. One of the finest examples of an absolutely untouched nickel/silver O&C buckle. It is a real joy to see a mint SS buckle especially an early one. Would like to hear JP's read on this one.
