Does anyone have any ideas from what period can be presented in the photos of the buckle?

I would say Japanese naval buckle....Not sure of time period, but looks old.....Bodes

This buckle is an ground dug from Gdansk. So the theory related to Japan is unlikely ... I got information from a friend to search around the XVIII - XIX centuries. Maybe Swedish?

Don't know what to tell you, the Japanese used this style of buckle.....I have one from WW2 with just an anchor on it....Has a cotton belt....

My only guess would be it came through Russia after their war with Japan....Bodes
