Well, these buckles are quite common - but I haven't seen one in this condition in a very long time!!! Super nice with I'd say 98% of the paint remaining. This buckle's a looker. well done....I wish mine was as nice.

She arrived today!!!
I am so in love with this buckle!!! Its so mint I never thought I would find one like this!!! its made by Dr Franke and co k.G and although looks unissued has wear on the clasp indicating use. The lack of replies is making me wonder whether these are more common than I thought. Am I right?

Nice Buckle!

I collect buckles w/tabs and that is a very nice example...however, what makes it most interesting to me is the fine pebbling and dark brown color of the tab. You can find quite a few minty buckles, but that style leather is not often seen.

Congrats! But don't be too hard on those early aluminum types...they're pretty special also when found in nice condition!
