Condor Legion? Strange marking

A friend is sorting through his collection and sent these photos. I don’t recall ever seeing a marking like this on a buckle. I told him I would post it for any comments.

Rogue stamp, if you ask me!
Never saw real Wehrmacht acceptance stamps (Heer/ Luftwaffe/ Kriegsmarine) directly punched into the buckle!

This is a Luftschutz mark (LS).

First time I see on buckle.

Thanks for the info on the marking. I know I have seen the marking before but but I am sure it wasn’t on a buckle. Guido is thinking the same thing I told my friend.

Some times you can find a similar ink mark on Luftschutz leather items (belts, helmet liners, etc.).

Yep, it is a LS stamp but never seen one on a belt buckle, and less on one of this kind. These are sometimes related to Condor Legion and even to penal units...but never got any information that backs that.

Hi all,

buckle like this are police and border troop from the 60' so the stamps have nothing to do on it.
