Belt - Is it WW2 or Post War

Looks post war to me simply because the stitching looks so new.....not over 60 years of age....the leather looks new as well. The West German post ww2 belts are wider than the war period belts....Are there any markings on the belt anywhere?

No none at all. I think post war as well but wanted to be sure.

I dont like the way the tongue is stitched on, going from fat to thin is very strange.

I have one of those belts.... it is a post war BW belt that are often found in surplus stores. It is a nice belt but too wide for the WW2 buckle and it is also constructed differently.
