    WH Heer belt - original?

    Hi.

    I need some help about these these one lat-war Heer belt?
    It is original or just repro? (These is first time that i seen marker on such strange place.)

        Me too, but I tend to believe it a period mistake.

        By the pics I do not see red flags

            Never seen the RBNr stamp on the outside face of the M44 belts ?

            otherwise it looks ok going by these pix.

              @Mac the belt construction itself looks okay, but the label of the manufacturer is a bit odd.

                I like the belt, however, items found with no wear makes me look harder at the item. I am going to agree that the location for the RBNr number is not normal but we must also realize that during this time nothing was normal. As I cannot see from the photos, please look at the sewing and determine if thread looks new or not (ie., is it fluffy thread). Does anyone recognize the RBNr number?

                If thread looks good and sewing looks good, then I concur with Rick and Mac that the anomaly shown is nothing more than a mistake by the leather maker.
