S A with elegant eagle (just for a change)

A brace of early SA's and with what I consider to be a quite distinct and elegant eagle.

The second one follows a somewhat standard form and to include a Weimar "box", although the first one is slightly odd.

Indications to suggest an Imperial "box" that has been stripped and in addition to a replacement pin shroud and claw arrangement, the roundel is soldered directly onto the "box" face. Accordingly, the two solder points would appear quite superfluous.

    Regards,

    David

I agree david that the first on definitely looks to be a reissued box with a new roundle fixed on.

Nice eagles, although with quite large feet I feel

          Cheers
