    SS RODO belt buckle

Hello, I recently purchased this from a reputable dealer.
However, as I am a newbie, I always like to hear opinions from other people.
Does it look good to all of you ?
I think this would be 1944/45 manufactured buckle ?
It appears to have the initials L.L. written in ink on the reverse. Was it common for soldiers to label their buckles this way. I know it was often done on belts.

    Thanks for any advice.

Looks like a doubtless good RODO buckle!
It is unusally to see initials on all kind of belt buckles.
