heer alu buckle made by Schmolle & Comp in 1937

interesting alu soldered catch

not so often see...this maker stopped this type of catch quickly, no ? hard to do ?

Interesting buckle. I have a first pattern Luftwaffe and Bahnschutz in aluminum with a welded catch. They are a scarce variation. There were more cost effective ways to make a buckle.
