    A Noelle & Heuck guided buckle sold on eMedals It was the only one I ever recall seeing. Maybe someone will know if they were a KM supplier. Is there any trace of green paint?

      buckle looks painted, maybe went into the Kreigsmarine later, this was mine.

          Buckle looks like the whole buckle might have been gold painted.

            I am sure the whole buckle was gold at one time. If you were going to paint a Heer buckle gold why strip it first? It is an original buckle but when it was given the gold finish is always going to be questionable.
