Completely not my area,,,I picked this up the otherday,,,stamping was on tail end of inner belt..barely visible anymore,,,the belt although is in MINT CONDITION,,oh,,,what did it go to ???

Are there any markings on the reverse of the buckle frame and also, are there any stampings on the reverse of the leather fold, holding the buckle in place?

Hey David,,,Nothin where you asked. the only mark is on the end of the inner belt,,is very faded. It is marked where the end narrows out to a point.

I was hoping that there would be either buckle frame or leather markings to help identify this set, as it had a very wide use and application. Not my area of collecting, although used by military, political and civil organisations alike.
The one that you show however is I think, normally regarded as Wehrmacht Heer or Luftwaffe officers.
