Officer Belt pistol holster holder ?

I bought this Belt but I am mainly an Badge collector so I have bought it as Wehrmacht Belt but I have no idea if it is one. Does somebody knows for what this extra Leather holder is ?
How was this used is this maybe an police belt ore Luftwaffe ?

Nothing wrong with your belt, the extra piece of leather was intended for attachment of a cross strap.
