difference between heer and kreigsmarine buckle?

I know this is a beginners question to most but how can you differentiate between a Heer buckle and a Kreigsmarine buckle?

I own a few Heer buckles but do not own a Kreigs buckle and based on the photos I've seen between the two I don't see the difference.

On the green steel buckles the only way it is a KM buckle is if it has a leather tab with the eagle M stamp or the swastika M stamp. Also only a few manufactures supplied the KM. The aluminum RS&S gold finished is the only aluminum KM buckle that I know of. Later steel KM buckle have a gilded or anodized finish. Only a limited number of companies produced these. I have CTD and m4/44 Cramer and GB Gustavo Breamer. Late war blue black buckles are described as KM but they would have been used by Heer and KM so don't pay extra. It is just a late war buckle.
