I beg to differ, looks to be a nice original made before May 1945 with the field-grey prongs, rather than the red-tan prongs. These were used by both the KM & WH later in the war.

I agree with Chris, the buckle is original, but it is the first time that I see a JFS Heer buckle with this reinforcement wedge in the upper catch feet
