Just picked this up from my neighbor. Last week was part 1, posted in the daggers and edge weapons forum. This is a nice early Army belt and buckle in brown leather. Never had one like this

Nice right facing Heer buckle. Looks like Assmann made.

The brown belt belongs not to the buckle. They were always worn on a black belt.

According to Angolia, in Belts and Brocades of the Third Reich, brown belts were worn for a very short period of time with the Army belt buckle. He quotes the order below.
