Heer ESL 43 buckle - green

Hi, my last pick up of 2016 was this "ESL 43" buckle in a definite green colour hue.

It contrasts with another buckle with identical maker and year recently posted here:-

I'm speculating (!) that this might illustrate Ernst Schneider's transition in 1943 from green/ feldgrau to their version of an 'Einheitsfarbe' late-war colour.

Here are some colour comparisons. On the left, the "B & N 42" with leather tab contrasts with a "B & N 43" with a definite blue-grey (seen in hand and in daylight).

On the right, the two "ESL 43" buckles (perhaps early and late 1943?) are green and a dark-grey (with perhaps a hint of green), possibly Ernst Scheider's version of their late-war 'Einheitsfarbe' colour?
