            handheld arrow cluster

I believe it's a fantasy item. The center is normaly only a badge and the logo of the Mussert garde was a handheld arrow cluster.

the emblem on the buckle is actually from a commemorative badge of the Mussert Guard.
It never appeared on any wartime buckles (none of those in the book)
Interesting books on foreign legions in the SS are the

Foreign Legions of the Third Reich by David Littlejohn.
                Comes in different volumes.
                Each volume covering some countries.

That's where I got this info from.

                Regards

                  Hi,

I'm allmost sure that this is a fantasy item. The Mussertgarde was a very short time active (about sept. 1939 till aug. 1940). Feldmeyer (leader of the Mussertgarde) and more members of this guard went into the Nederlandse SS (Dutch SS). During there activity the guard operated underground. There's one symbol publiced in Distinctieven der Beweging (a special book of the NSB) and that's only a pin of the Mussertgarde. The number of members of this guard wasn't high, just a few hunderd. Therefore I don't believe in this belt. In Polen they make a lot of fake stuff. Be carefull.

Totally fake, and has never existed ! I'm doing an study on this small group who laid the foundation for the Dutch SS.There was a small pin of the Mussert-Garde,which Marcel mentioned. But I have never seen pictures of people actually wearing this pin.
