    Ss 36/38

    Hello
Any issues here? Apart from the combat damage of course

    Not ground dug?

Looks untouched to me, am I wrong?

    Thanks

Looks like a shrapnel damage. Silent witness of a tragedy.

                  Original one

Considering the general looking, I would say yes, for sure ground dug.
It has the typical aluminium oxidation of ground dug relics.
Anyway it lived under a "good" terrain, perhaps mud, that quite conserved it well.

Do you have idea of its provenance?
