    Opinions on Political Leaders buckle

I would like some opinions on this Political Leaders buckle that I've had for a few years.
It is complete with it's RZM tag and is maker marked RZM M4/43 but it is not made of alum. as others I have seen.
It's very heavy and feels like it may be made of brass.
Any opinions on this buckle would be appreciated.

    Regards
    Gary

          Hello Gary,

no problem with that buckle. Most of the PL buckles are made in aluminium, but zinc was used as well.
Since it is a M4/43, take a close look to the maker on the RZM tag. I know some (all?) have the RZM number "M4/39" on the tag.

          Please don't ask me why

            Hi Christian:

I have examined the RZM tag and it is very faintly marked M4/39.
Strange that the buckle is marked RZM M4/43 and the tag is marked M4/39

Buckle and tag are original, no doubts about this. As for the tag being of another factory marking as the buckle… It happens sometimes, I do have a SS Overhoff buckle with an Assmann tag…why??? Don’t know
