I would like some help to identify this belt buckle, please. It looks "German-made" to me, but I am not 100% sure that it is, in fact, German...

These shoulder-boards were found inside the same box with the buckle. Maybe they are related? Maybe not.

Buckle is German! A Feuerwehr buckle from the 30th's.
Don't remember exactly the state/ province. Maybe Brandenburg ...

... but this page from the Assmann & Sohne catalog definitively links the buckle to the German Feuerwehr of the city of Aachen.

On the note about Polish buckle. It is model wz.38, commonly known as "Rembertow" buckle. It was issued in limited numbers to few units for testing. One of them was based in a town named Rembertow near Warsaw, hence its' name. Only a few thousand were made, by 2 or 3 makers. Most common was Grabski in Warsaw.

Believe it or not - it is the city crest of Frankfurt/Main, not Aachen. Assmann was wrong in this.
