    Wehrmacht buckle?

    Hi,can i get some info on this buckle.Does the 2 piece construction signify anything(police?)?I got it with a brown belt.Did Wehrmacht officially wear a black belt?

    Walking out/parade WH belt buckle normally worn with black belt .

        These buckles were privately purchased and, as said, used for parades and walking out.
        They were not suited for field use, because not strong enough as the regular issues.
        Nonetheless I found a couple on the battlefield, broken
        Can't say about the value, but these buckles can be considered common.
