It's hard to tell from the photos, but this looks like a cast fake to me. Fake cast JMO buckles are fairly common.

Unfortunately I've got nothing more. The buckle wasn't mine. I wanted to buy it, but it had more bad opinions than good ones. So I gave it a rest. It's all over now, but I still wonder, whether was good or not
