Have you checked this last buckle to see if it glows in the dark like a feldgendarmerie gorget eagle?
Hold it near a light bulb and then take it in a dark room . There were Luft traffic police , first thing I thought when I saw the paint color was : could this be worn by a luftwaffe feldgendarmerie to work in conjunction to the eagle on the gorget under blackout conditions to keep him from getting run over in the dark? (or is it just tropical paint?)
Another interesting observation is : some buckles eagle wing tips fall short of the wreaths , and some overlap . Some eagle wing tips are straight out with no curl on the end, other designs curl up on the tips to different varying degrees. I suppose this doesn't mean anything...possibly it was just the different companies designs . (??yes/no ??)

John, would you say this para belt started out greenish, and just was sun bleached, or do you feel it was tan to begin with?
The beaks on these different buckle designs vary also. This one has a pointier beak where as others curve downward.Comment
