Tabbed Heer Steel Buckle for maker, please

    Hello:
I have this tabbed Heer buckle, but if there are maker's marks, they are shallow, and under the paint. The tab is not much help, as the stamping is also shallow (and the leather has shrunk). There is a five-pointed star in the oval, at the 2 o'clock position (if that helps).
    Thanks for any opinions.

    Regards,
    Kent

Is there any trace of stamp in form of HA and date? (look on the buckle catch front side)
Judging by Eagle Head and pain work style these buckle for me also looks as H. Arld Nuremberg product.

            Hello:
I have seen the maker mark you describe in other threads, but looking at mine with a magnifying glass, I see no trace of a mark (perhaps it is just covered with the paint).
I had another look at the tab stamping, but it is not legible.
I do see the similarities in the design on the front with other Arld examples, so I believe the mystery is solved.
Thanks to you both for the effort.

            Regards,
            Kent
