Dark Chocolate RAD officer's brocade belt

    Hello everyone,

I recently picked this up in a trade and was wondering how everyone felt about this one. I have been told that the RAD brocade belts were usually a light honey brown and in some instances dark chocolate brown. Are the dark chocolate ones like the one I am showing right now more uncommon than the others? Thanks for looking either way!

Very nice! Do you have a dark chocolate as well?

A nice quality brocade. Most the the RAD brocades I have seen have a wool backing that is the same material as used to make an officers uniform. Yours is the material used to make the collar of an officers uniform. If you check out the large sticky thread on RAD uniforms you'll see lots of different shades of brown were uses on the collars. Your dark brown seems to be rarer. You can also see the strips on the brocade come in different shades of brown.
