I did not have to ask him to remove it: he did on his own right away.

I used to be his customer and I can't complain. I bought from him a few wonderful SS items which are orginal and many times he gave me personal advise too, but I think he should stick to white weapon because he is a real expert in this kind of field. Buckles & cloth insignia and badges especially SS I would preffer to buy from Mr Bill Shea etc.
But as I said If I would go for SS sword or SS / SA dagger or any other white weapon Mr Wittmann is for me still father figure although yesterday ZONK shouldn't have place.

The funniest think was to read the description of this buckle. As I remember " This buckle saw some action ! " Maybe collapsing the berlin wall but definitely not II WW.

Not even so. They were made after (late 90's)

Good to know- Late 90's . I am not an expert and I have very poor knowledge about SS buckles but I had a feeling that was V- chest fake and I couldn't believe that was for sale in TW website.
Thank You Mr Pierre for sharing Your knowledge and supporting collectors community.

Ha! Yeah, it saw some "action" when the fake-peddler who created it tried to artificially age it to pass it off as period.

TW sells buckles and medals to be a well-rounded dealer but his strength, obviously, is edged weapons.

Thank You for your kind words but Pierre is NOT my name! Pierre is part of my first name which writes in French Jean-Pierre. Redeuilh IS my last name. Maybe not that important but I prefer to avoid confusion with an american dealer operating under the name Jean Pierre (who is not myself)
