        I think it's ceremonial execution buckle .
And I only saw the second with such a stigma.

Very nice and very rare buckle in mint condition, but ceremonial construction, why?, i think that it is a C. Balmberger buckle without paint and without leather tab

that's NEVER the natural color of aluminium...

ALL the alu buckles are silver painted : luft, ss, police.... (except in green for heer)..

you can clearly see the painting on the reverse in the roundel, eagle + motto are shining compares around where the belt scrubs the buckle..

example of SS buckle, you can see paint remains around the eagle on the front and in roundel on the reverse..

                          Hello,

Aluminium SS buckles never paintet !

They all silver anodized . Thats the special way to harden a surface and gif him the special color , only by Alu !

That can also made in grey ( DRK ,RAD ) or gold for Marine

                            I agree with Marcus
This is not a paint, a chemical silvering
