    Luftwaffe steel buckle CTD1942 for opinions please

    I think it's a real buckle but the paint looks really strange. Could it be original paint?

      Detail is weak around the eagles' body and drawn back leg....It's also a rare variation of catch, and the prong ends look off, so it could be a copy.....Let's see what the others say....Bodes

        a good original one IMO

        this color is for a dress wear, not for combat use.

            100% original CTD LW buckle with crank catch, not common seen, but well known.
