    Need Opinions On Belt

    Hello Everyone. Let me start off by saying that I know NOTHING about German belts and buckles. I bought a box of German stuff yesterday and there were three original belts and buckles that I have already sold to a well known dealer. This belt was also in the box and I need to get some thoughts / opinions on if it is real / period or not and the value. The belt measures approximately 46 inches long. Thanks in advance , BDM

            I would say the rubber stamps are bogus.....The one in the circle says Oberkommando Der Wehrmacht.....The other is a WaA proof....Having said this, the rest of the belt has to viewed with suspicion....Sorry for the bad news...Bodes

                Even if the belt was real the stamps would make me not want it. The size is a plus if someone wants to wear a buckle. Most original belts are small by todays standards. I sold a Herman Goring size brocade a few years ago and it brought almost double what I was expecting.
