ss buckle 36/42 with weird runes?

I don't know SS buckles like most, but did these SS runes really look this strange with a long and short arm, and not exact lengths? Also in 42, how over strikes on steel maker logo buckles would there be?

it is correct, and you have an interesting variation with lettering on the bottom right, some of it obliterated by solder
