Nice buckle. There is also a 35 mm version with the same company logo. Could be pre RZM.

Gentlemen! Please explain the adjective "early" with regards to SA buckles. Nearly all SA buckles are pre RZM! RZM became operational in 1934. This is the same year when party regulations stated that SA men have to wear 2-claw buckles and belts. Some makers ignored these regulations and produced further SA buckles. Don't you think this is the reason why we have so much unmarked pieces?

Agreed--that's why there are so few RZM marked SA buckles found.

Totally correct, RZM was created in 1933 and the first RZM licenses were issued in early March 1935. SA, HJ, and NSDAP buckles made before then would be unmarked, have logos, or patent markings but not an RZM marking.
