      Welcome to the Forum.

An original DJ by Dr. Franke und Cie !

Excellent buckle by condition and also, I do like those large and distinct markings.

      Regards,

      David

The "good deal" all depends on what you paid for it of course.

Seriously, the price of good quality and well marked DJ's (buckles and not dinner jackets that is), has soared recently and furthermore, are becoming harder and harder to find.

One very minor point however on this one is the often encountered forward sloping catch bar as a design feature and not indicative of past damage or crush.

          Regards,

          David

40 $ is a very good deal for this one

Yes - a very good price for a most attractive and desirable DJ.

Attached is the "standard" design, however with a brazed U catch fitting and also, the "standard" design with a nickle rune and a full buckle width, catch fitting.

                Regards,

                David
