    Good morning gentlemen,
I was wondering if anybody knew anything about the green cross belt buckle, and are they both original. Thank you

The green cross is anyway post war. Can you make a photo from the Luftwaffe reverse, please?

Schülerlotsendienst = school crossing guard, i.e. people helping school children cross the road safely. The idea was apparently imported to Germany by the US military after the war and implemented by several German cities as early as 1948. At the Federal level, a Schülerlotsendienst was established in 1953 by the Federal Ministry of Transport. Guards were required to wear a "white belt with buckle (Koppelschloss) and cross-strap". Not sure when the buckle was abolished, but the institution as such (all volunteers) still exists today.

        Kind regards
        Kurt
