Unmarked SS Belt Buckle

A friend of mine is selling this buckle and I wanted to know if it's the real deal and how much can one expect to pay for an unmarked SS belt buckle.

It's a very nice Overhoff. I'd value it at around $500, give or take depending on who's interested.

This is the most common SS buckle. I looked at a bunch of these at the SOS. The least expensive was $275 for one in good worn condition with no paint. I paid $400 for a very nice one with most of it's dull silver finish.
