    Heer Lehmann and Wunderberg

Here a nice pebbled aluminum Heer I got at the SOS a few months ago. The eagle and construction match up with a Lehmann and Wunderberg.

Beautiful! That's definitely a Lehmann buckle. Besides the distinct eagle, look at the blurry reverse. This maker is pretty uncommon in any condition, in my opinion.

Glad you like it. I have only found 4 example doing a search here and on War Relics, so it must be a rarely seen buckle.

Very nice example Kirby. You are correct that the L&W buckles are very hard to find so when u see one u should pick it up and add to the collection.

Thanks for posting both of these great buckles. I didn't know this buckle was a rare maker but any pebbled aluminum with an excellent finish is rare. I was very happy when the dealer said $50.
