    Max Haufe ?

    Hello,

i hold a HJ conversion buckle with Maker RZM UE 106 H .

Last days i came across a NSKK buckle with same maker .

The maker mark is for me not 100% conclusively .

    Who can help ?

Normaly i know Max Haufe as RZM KH 31 H taken from the M4 list .............

yes it is Max Hauf- why they marked this UE 106 is beyond me, it is incorrect for sure. I have this buckle in HJ and DJ, and I also have another HJ which is marked
    RZM KH31 H - same H in a box as yours.
M4/31 is Max Hauf----I will try and dig it out and post tonight.
    thanks
    Chad

UE corresponds to the M5 code f0r August Schulze. Could it be that one or the other manufacturer stamped their mark after the conversion?

Only Assmann, Overhoff and C.T. Dicke were licensed to do conversions. Besides that, these markings (UE106 and the Haufe mark) are seen on other, non-converted buckles as well. It probably has to do with Haufe losing their M5 license or something of that nature.
