Kriegsmarine Gustav Brehmer?

What do you guys think about this buckle, it has remains of gold paint but i am not so sure the paint is genuine. I don't know if Gustav Brehme has ever made kriegsmarine buckles.
I think it is a repainted heer.

Just to confirm Gustav Brehmer was a KM supplier and in my collection stay an almost mint KM by steel gilded GB 43 marked.
