There are a lot of mint gold ones (Navys) around in tissue paper but these are copies--they are sold as such by some of the German dealers and real by others I suppose..I can not comment though on a specific buckle unless I see pix.

These copies I refer to have the roundel held on by four prongs and look pretty good. I think they go for about 15 or 20 dollars a piece as copies.

      Happy Holidays,

      John

That is what I am refering to. I do not know where a real enlisted gold buckle is, but fake ones turn up frequently and yes they are always mint.

What are your thoughts on this one?

Marc was looking for an aluminum one that is mint. Found one in an earlier thread. Not mint, but getting closer.

                    Garth

Thankyou for the reverse images of the Schupo and SA/NSKK buckles.

A good and honest police buckle with a clear B u. N mark.

The SA/NSKK buckle is however more interesting and yes, chrome rather than nickle silver with a super detailed eagle. I assume that there are no stampings under the pin shroud and furthermore, the "mark" near to the half moon catch is a blemish and not a makers logo or similar?

                    Regards,

                    David

                      David,
No markings at all on the SA and that is a blemish by the catch.
