It's a Polizei of Feuerschutzpolizei buckle from the province of Saxony. Whether or not it's original, I don't know.

I see that you managed to squeak $29 out of it as eBay seller "picwords".

I've read warnings from Moderator Don Doering in the Imperial Militaria section of this forum that membership on this forum can be terminated for selling fakes on eBay.

2-Knowledgeable and respected members called this buckle out as a fake on the thread that you originally started under the Imperial Uniforms and Headgear section of the Ken Jasper Int'l Militaria Forums.

It was pointed out that: The solder points were not looking good (i.e. modern), the claw points were clipped by a wire cutter, and the buckle box is post war (I & II).

After someone said they didn't know if it was real or not on the Belts & Buckles forum, You still went ahead and listed it quoting you " CANNOT FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE ANYWHERE THEREFORE I BELIEVE IT IS RARE - PERIOD I BELIEVE 1920S 1930S" and sold it on eBay as an original.

I assure you that there's no "slight" or "whiff" or "disdain" on my part. IMHO the "slight whiff of disdain" comes from you for what you wrote on eBay in your listing after what you were told on here about your buckle.
