2 piece 2nd pattern Luftwaffe

Hi folks,
This buckle was given to me as a B-day present, by a very dear friend. To be honest, I have never seen a 2 piece Luftwaffe in 2nd pattern. It looks good to me. What do you think? Are these things somewhat scarce?

Thanks, it looked good to me and everything checked out, but Luft buckles are something I have not collected in years. I have seen two piece 1st patterns and of course 1 piece 1st and 2nd patterns in aluminum. Are these two piece 2nd patterns scarce?

I dont know if I would say "scarce", but definatly less encountered....yours looks to be aluminum, I also have a 2 piece that is made of pot metal and silver painted (non magnetic)..I will post pics if you wish...chad
