SS buckle ?

Greetings,

I am new to this site but have been a collector for over 30 years. I picked this up 20 some years ago and would like to know if it is good. I paid
at the most $5 or $10 for it so not worried about geting burnt. Based on
what I read, it is a unmarked late war.
