Hello,

I think the lack of responses perhaps indicates some general uncertainty about this buckle. It appears to be a perfectly original Imperial M1895 box. The question of originality is to the roundel & pairing as these buckles are faked/reproduced. The solder points look convincing as does the pairing overall but I'd be skeptical and curious to see further images. I'd also be curious to know if you received any messages or inquiries about the buckle.

Here is one I once owned. I believed it to be good. I also owned one on a nickel silver body which I also believed to be good. Only have a photo of that one from the front if your interested.in seeing it.
