                LW assmann

Yellow12, Can you tell it's a late Assmann buckle because of the feet on the catch are angled outwards...?? instead of inwards like on many assmanns buckles.

on the tab, the date is outside the manufacturer logo (circle), this is typical from Assmann.

                    Hello,

tahts typical for steel buckles .

Later means the date 1941 on the leather tab .

                      Hello..

OK, but howcome the feet on the catch on this Assmann is angled outwards.....??
I have seen other 1941's Assmann's with the feet angled inwards, so I assume it's not date related..or..

On the majority of Assmann's buckles I have seen on here, the feet are angled inwards.

I don't know how many variations there are of Assmann's. I can't find them in my book.
