    SA buckles

    Hello collectors,

in the last time, I saw many SA buckles with static swastika. I was wondering about this, because it is the rarest of the three swastika types.
Has anybody the same feeling, or informations about high quality fakes?

    Thanks

    Christian

I have seen them also but because I have enough real ones in my collection and because not many peoples are interested in the SA buckles I did not pay attention to what to look for to detect the fakes from the originals. The ones I have seen where sold as fake and where looking damn good but I did not look for details.
Below some of the buckles in my collection, the one below left might be fake. I say MIGHT BE; I am not 100% sure.

Example of a easy to detect fake SA buckle.
          3 soldering points
          Prongs cut not right
          New and shiny look

buckles with three points of welding

Hello with all, still two loops of which I doubt the authenticity, three points of welding are not good sign (in general), thank you for your assistance. CORDIALLY

You are right in suggesting that any buckle with three vertical solder points affixing the roundel, should be treated with extreme caution.

Do you have any particular buckle in mind and if so, are you able to submit some images?

              Regards,

              David

It acts of a loop SA with the solar cross and another loop of JUNGSTURM VORAN, very beautiful manufacture, I count on MARC to put the photographs. cordially

I merged this thread with an older one on the same subject.

Here another example of a fake SA buckle with 3 soldering points.
