    POL Buckle.

    Hello, Belt/buckle forum members.

I'm currently in the market for an O/R Police buckle. My research has conjured up some scary real looking repo's. so asking for more eyes here please.
I have books, and even though, I'm still not quite 100% self confident with this steel based example below.

It's advertised as maker marked on the reverse. I sent an e-mail to the seller asking to provide an I.D. of the MFG which may hold a clue. I have come across other identical examples for comparison too in my research.

Thanks for any guidance here please.

It's a nice buckle, in my opinion. The maker might be Overhoff (OLC).

      Think it's a CTD.

Seethe below thread link for comparable examples and for other police buckles.

Thank you members so much for the expedient replies and the link. I was looking at the fake gallery and didn't see this other link.

Once again thanks to guys I will pursue the buckle. Will update with the MFG FYI!

Looking at ears folding I would say C.T.D.

It will be interesting to find out how it's marked. CTD was my first thought, then I started leaning toward Overhoff. It might be unmarked!

              yes it's a nice C.T.D.

Here to compare a Overhoff . See the differently shaped ears and catch ........:

It's on the way guy's. As mentioned I will reveal the MFG. Feel free to place your bets.

Never had a POL buckle so along with your guidance and my enjoyable research I appreciate your time here.

I think the guys who guessed CTD will be correct.
